Who We Are

Falco & Falco, PLLC is proud to have Joe Falco, III and Ashley Ver Schuur at its helm. Both have dedicated their services to the legal industry since their early beginnings:

    Joe Falco, III was born and raised in Navasota, Texas. He graduated from Navasota High School in 1980, and attended Sam Houston State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Law Enforcement/Police Science in 1985. In 1988, he earned his Juris Doctor Degree from South Texas College of Law, and became a licensed attorney in the State of Texas in May of 1989. Joe joined his father, Joe S. Falco, Jr., as a partner in the law firm of Falco & Falco that same year. In 1995, Joe earned his Board Certification from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the area of Family Law. He is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, where he served on the Checklist Committee, and he is a former President of the Grimes County Bar Association. Joe is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell’s peer review rating system.

    Joe is married to Cindy Slaydon Falco, and they have two children, Ashley Falco Ver Schuur and Joe S Falco, IV. Joe served as a Member of the Navasota ISD School Board for twelve years, and he is a member of First Baptist Church of Navasota. Joe teaches yoga in Navasota and the Bryan-College Station area, and enjoys various outdoor activities, including distance running, rock climbing, skydiving, scuba diving, snow skiing, and camping. He is also an avid supporter of independent music and musicians, as well as a contributor to several charitable organizations.

  Ashley Ver Schuur is a local, born and raised in Navasota, and has an extensive knowledge of the law. She graduated from Navasota High School in 2008 and received her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University in 2013. In 2016 she graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law and became a licensed attorney in the State of Texas. Ashley joined the law office in August of 2016 as a partner and has since been working diligently on cases involving family law, probate, and estate planning. Ashley is a member of the Family Law, Child Protection Law, and Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law sections of the State Bar of Texas. Ashley has been a member of a special focus group to help Child Protection Courts become more trauma-informed and was named Best Attorney in Grimes County in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021.

    Ashley is married to Erik Ver Schuur, and together they have a wonderful son named Noah. Since 2018, Ashley has proudly served on the Navasota ISD Education Foundation, which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the teachers and students of NISD. Ashley is also committed to giving back to the community and has been an active supporter of many local organizations and businesses. When she's not at the office, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling, and watching Texas A&M Football.
